San Diego’s award-winning ramen restaurant RakiRaki Ramen has opened a new location in Rancho Penasquitos.
Located in the lively Plaza Rancho Penasquitos shopping plaza, the new RakiRaki Ramen restaurant has a range of authentic Japanese ramen dishes, appetizers and drinks. From the Tonkotsu Ramen to the Vegan Ramen, to the Ramen Burgers and specialty sushi rolls, RakiRaki Ramen’s menu is well known and popular among San Diego diners.
“We are thrilled to open our newest location in Rancho Penasquitos and bring the community together through our love of ramen,” said Junya Watanabe, Owner and Executive Chef of RakiRaki Ramen. “Our mission has always been to provide an authentic and unforgettable dining experience, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our new location.”
In addition to its renowned ramen dishes, RakiRaki Ramen also offers a variety of appetizers, including crispy Gyoza and savory Takoyaki, as well as a selection of drinks, including Japanese beers and sake.
The new location has mixed architectural details such as reclaimed wood, contemporary zinc-countertops and oversized Japanese lanterns for a dining experience rooted in tradition but with a modern vibe. Diners can watch as chefs prepare each bowl of ramen “aburi” style.
The new RakiRaki Ramen location in Rancho Penasquitos is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. It has pickup or delivery through the RakiRaki Ramen website. Catering is also available.
The new RakiRaki Ramen location is housed at 9995 Carmel Mountain Road, Suite b6. This is east of Del Mar off Highway 56 near I-15.
