UNwineD, Tacos & Tequila Festival, Sand Jam & A Jimmy Buffett Fans’ Party Highlight Spring’s Hot Happenings
Not the weather, mind you, but a lineup of hot happenings ranging from a wine and craft beer festival, a tacos & tequila event, music and motorcycles.
“Spring is always a favorite time of year for our locals and visitors in Panama City Beach,” says Visit Panama City Beach President and CEO Dan Rowe. “With a first-class alternative rock music festival like SandJam joining our event roster this year, we’re excited to bring new travelers to our destination, as well as welcome back returning visitors to some of our popular annual favorites like UNwineD.”
Here’s a rundown of the hottest of these hot events.

Tacos & Tequila Festival: April 7
Fish tacos and margaritas are serious business in a beach town. The Grand Lagoon Tacos & Tequila Fest is a ‘friendly’ competition between local restaurants and bars vying for bragging rights and giant trophies that winners keep for the year and then return to defend at the next year’s event. All competitors start with the same fresh from the gulf fish and top shelf tequila, from there they go loco with original garnishes and secret ingredients. Winners are decided by attendees who cast their votes for the best fish taco and the best margarita. For more information, click here.
