How To Enjoy An Open Bar And Views Of The Las Vegas Strip
Seriously. For 40 bucks, you can take a ride in one of the capsules and have – are you ready for this one – access to an open bar. Imagine having drinks without reaching for the purse or wallet while slowly being elevated to a view over the LV Strip.
Called Happy Half Hour, it includes a 30-minute ride inside the climate-controlled cabin with an open bar and private bartender serving up wine, beer and spirits.
And yes, it’s only $40. Actually it’s even less if you book in advance on the High Roller website and ride during daytime hours. That link will also give you a $5 discount for all High Roller rides.
For a little extra, you can even add in a karaoke machine for your Happy Half Hour or reserve a cabin for longer periods of time for a group, including for weddings.
Now of course it’s only half an hour so even fast-paced drinkers can only get down a couple of drinks in that time, but that’s not the point. You’re likely to be distracted by conversations and the view anyway. This is just a cool way to do something different while cruising along The Strip. Just think of all the “likes” you’ll get on social media, too, from the selfies!
Each High Roller cabin accommodates up to 25 people and provides 360-degree views of the Strip.
This high-rolling bar is open from noon-1 a.m.
The High Roller is located at the end of The LINQ Promendade (which has a few bars) across from Caesars Palace, which places it mid-Strip.
It’s also right next to a stop along the Las Vegas Monorail.
