New Orleans Jazzfest 2017 Dates & Music Lineup Highlights

The 2017 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival features a full seven-day lineup with a music range that goes from Stevie Wonder to Snoop Dogg.

The Week 1 headline performers are Harry Connick, Jr., on Friday, Maroon 5 on Saturday and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers on Sunday. Week 2’s headliners are Widespread Panic on Thursday, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds on Friday, Steve Wonder on Saturday and Blues Traveler on Sunday.

Jazzfest 2017 Dates Are April 28-May 7

The dates for Jazzfest – one of the top social and party events in a city full of social and party events – is April 28-30 and May 4-7.

In all, more than 100 musicians and bands play each and every day of Jazzfest. Other Week 1 highlights include Aaron Neville (Friday), Usher & The Roots (Saturday) and Pitbull on Sunday.

The Week 2 lineup is enhanced by Herb Albert on Thursday; Earth, Wine & Fire on Friday; Snoop Dogg on Saturday and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue on Sunday.

One notable name missing this year – sorry Parrotheads! – is Jimmy Buffett.

New Orleans Jazzfest 2017 Ticket Prices

• Single-day advance tickets $7-; gate price $80
• Krewe Of Jazz Fest VIP, $600 for Week 1, $700 for Week 2
• Brand Marshal VIP Pass, $975 for Week 1, $1,125 for Week 2

There are no weekend GA ticket packages; you must purchase each day. Tickets are available on-line as well as on-site at the box office (Jazzfest does not sell out, tho there are huge crowds) or as part of a transportation package that includes a bus ride from the French Quarter.
