Music Festival A Top Party Event In The Big Easy

New Orleans Jazzfest will revel the performers on Tuesday, Jan. 19, and the bands and musicians will fill the stages on two weekends, April 22-24 and April 28-May 1.
In 2015, more than 450,000 people attended Jazzfest. That year’s lineup included Jimm Buffett, The Tho, Lada Gaga, No Doubt and Keith Urban. Overall, hundreds of bands and musicians playing all kinds of music fill multiple stages in a big, outdoor festival and party, New Orleans style.
Once the lineup is announced, then tickets will go on sale. You can purchase single-day tickets in advance or on site, and weekend passes in advance at the event’s official website, nojazzfest.com.
Located at the Fair Grounds Race Course, it’s a 15-minute bus, cab or Uber ride from Bourbon Street and the French Quarter.
People go to this event not just for all the bands but also go to meet and mingle, drink beer and eat Cajun food. They can do all that at Jazzfest.
Bring a collapsable cooler and fill it up with beers – they also give you ice – and establish your “home base” at one of the stages. Then wander around the massive grounds to hear other music (rock, country, jazz, Zydeco, even Gospel), meet other people and party in that casual style of New Orleans.
PubClub.com will publish the lineup when it’s announced.
