Born out of roots from country music and the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville today is a diverse, growing city. Nashville has an NFL team – the Titans, who play in one of the few stadiums in the country located by a body of water – an NHL team (Predators) and is home of an IndyCar race.
But it also holds true to its culture and tradition and while it’s much more than country these days, the city is full of music. There are start-up and long-time bands playing the honky tonks of Broadway hoping to get that coveted invitation to the Bluebird Cafe where many record producers hang out and where Taylor Swift got discovered. Live music is everywhere and the visitor to Nashville is the beneficiary of this bounty of entertainment.
This is a guide to Nashville with links to its bars and nightlife, fun and free things to do and even a side trip to the Jack Daniels distillery. Which is in a dry county!
So get out your cowboy boots, put on that cowboy hat, grab a tall one and take PubClub.com’s virtual tour of Nashville.
