Forecast Calls For Zero Degrees During Eagles-Patriots Game
Because outside, the host city for Super Bowl LII is likely to be freezing. Literally.
The weather forecast calls for a low of 0 degrees on Super Bowl Sunday. That’s 0 as in zero.
The high is to be but 17 and snow showers are a possibility in the evening.
In fact, the entire weekend is to be bleak from a weather standpoint. Friday’s forecast calls for snow showers with a high of just 17 and a low of a bone-chilling 7 degrees.
Saturday is even worse, with a high of 17 and a low of of 1. Yes, 1 degree.
Inside, this won’t matter, of course, but it does for getting to the game, any tailgating, going to the Super Bowl parties and in general for attempting to do anything outside.
For Super Bowl veterans, such as the media, it will likely bring to mind Super Bowl XVI in Detroit. It was so cold there were power outages and reporters were huddled in hotel lobbies either unwilling or unable to go outside.
So if you’re going, Eagles and Patriots fans, the weather will be like a November, December or January regular season or playoff game. You’re used to it.
