Batman Party at 5 Towers And First Public Display Of The Camo Tumbler Part of Midnight Screenings
It’s not just the midnight screenings of “The Dark Knight Rises,” the final installment in Christopher Nolan’s popular Batman trilogy, that will have Batman fans from all over Los Angeles descending upon Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, July 19.
It’s a full Batman theme party with DJs performing sets at “5 Towers,” CityWalk’s utdoor concert venue. Universal CityWalk will also host the first public display in Los Angeles of the film’s iconic 2.5-ton Camo Tumbler that was first introduced in its original camouflage color scheme in “Batman Begins.” People can – and will – snap and pose for pictures with it.
There is no charge for the party. Fans are encouraged to arrive at 8 p.m., with the Batman party running from 8-10. At midnight, the screenings will take place at Universal CityWalk Cinemas and its 7-story IMAX screen.
Universal CityWalk Cinemas – located adjacent to “5 Towers” concert venue – is at 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA
