Popular Annual Party Features A Day By the Bay and a Friday Night Party on the Hornblower Yacht
Food and wine – plus plenty of beer and good times – await people who pair up beautiful San Diego with the annual San Diego Food & Wine Festival.
The event is not until November – 16-20 to be precise – but tickets are already on sale. And it’s a good idea to get them early so you’re not panicking that it’s sold out, which usually is each year.
This is a very fun event that takes place on Embarcadero Park, just behind the Convention Center and by the bay.
It’s a perfect location and features more than 150 vendors serving food, wine and beer (in fact, the Stella Artois tent is the most popular place at the festival).
It’s an annual event – a happening – for some 10,000 people.
But this is more than a one-day thrill, it’s a “multi-event event,” meaning there are other parties associated with it. The biggest of these is the Friday night party on the Hornblower yacht, which features three levels of beer, booze, wine and some food.
Tickets for the Grand Tasting, as the main event is called, are $125 and $100 for the Hornblower party (see link below to purchase). There are also dozens of other events, including wine tasting classes and food and wine paring demonstrations.
