A King Can Of The King Of Beers In Time For Football Season

Here’s a way to keep from getting off the couch to make a mad dash to the refrigerator for a beer during critical moments of football games: Budwieser has introduced 25-ounce cans!

The bigger can adds an extra ounce, for the same price, to the existing 24-ounce can.

“It’s more than just a new can or some new packaging innovation,” Budweiser stated in a promotional e-mail. “And it’s definitely more than just one more ounce of beer. It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to all the loyal Budweiser drinkers who reach for the King more than any other beer.”

The new 25-ounce can is available in liquor and grocery stores where Budweiser is sold. A few bars may also carry it, but it’s primarily available where you get your 6-packs and 12-packs.

Something tells me that refrigerators across America will soon be filling up with them because, well, it’s football season and who wants to miss a big play, even to get a beer!?
