Not To Light And Not To Heavy It’s Ideal For The Beach, Boats and BBQs. And Jimmy Buffett Concerts
Summer has arrived, and that means going to the beach, the river, the lake, house parties, backyard BBQs, large and small gatherings of friends and strangers and on summertime adventures.
Naturally, these activities go better with beer, whether it’s putting a couple in the backpack for a hike or filling up a cooler and putting it on a boat.
And the beer that fits the best with the good ‘ol summertime is Landshark Lager.
When you’re out in the sun, you don’t want to be held down by heavy beer. You want something light, something that goes down easy, something that doesn’t sit heavy in the belly. Save the pale ales and stouts for the nighttime.
But there also has to be flavor. If I want to drink a beer disguised as water, then Ill just drink water. When I want a beer, I want a beer!
And that’s what makes Landshark Lager so perfect.
It’s light, but it also has taste. One of the worst things to happen at summer events is to be out at the beach or a party and reach into the cooler for a cold beer only to be greeted by something that tastes like Windex. It’s harder to swallow than a fight with your girlfriend when she catches you innocently chatting with the pretty blonde stranger.
I’m tempted to spit it out like a bug that flew into my mouth.
Landshark Lager is not like that, not at all. It looks light in its clear bottle, but that’s a disguise. Inside is lurking a liquid sensation.
It’s not exactly as bold as LeBron James, but it’s hardly as meek as Mario Chalmers, either. In basketball, a person with these in-between traits is called a “tweener,” and that’s not necessarily a positive attribute. In summertime beer, on the other hand, it’s perfect. You want the beer to be refreshing but not something that’s so light it takes 10 to get even the slightest buzz.
I can drink several Landshark Lagers without getting filled up – or overly tipsy, the feeling is more like energized, ready to charge ahead with the day and night – and having one makes me say “I’ll have another.” When Landshark Lager is in the cooler, that cooler is always within easy reach.
I even put a couple in my backpack and enjoyed them with my feet in a pool of water when I hiked Fish Canyon Falls, a waterfall in Los Angeles (and yes, there are waterfalls in L.A.). Others around me were jealous; they wondered if there was a bar at the falls!
Another good place for Landshark Lager is Jimmy Buffett concerts. That’s an all-day drinking affair and you want to be part of the party, but you also keep your wits about you because the tailgate parties are so much fun.
And to all that, I’ll have a Landshark Lager!
