Bravarian Style Hefeweizen To Help Save Our Shores Organization

Good brewmasters never rest. They keep brewing new beer.

Kevin Clark is at it again, and he’s come up with a Bavarian-style Hefeweizen that will debut on Valentine’s Day in his craft brewery, Peter B’s in Monterey, CA. This is a limited beer, just 12 barrels. In the past, Clark has created beers influenced from Africa, Asia, Europe to Fiji. It has several Ales, Stouts and IPAs.

And to show his love for the ocean on Valentine’s Day, Clark is donating $1 on every mug sold, or $3 with every 100-ounce beer tube, to  Save Our Shores.

Peter B’s Brewpub is  located behind the Portola Hotel & Spa, between Fisherman’s Village and downtown Monterey.

Peter B’s also has a restaurant, a more casual setting and food than the more formal (but not over the edge formal) Jack’s Restaurant and Lounge in the Portola Hotel & Spa. Happy Hour is 4-6:30 daily, and its releasing an Alvarado Street Raspberry Wheat to kick off a week’s worth of activities for American Craft Beer Week, May 13-19.
