Cheers To Beers On April 7

April 7 is National Beer Day – hashtag #NationalBeerDay – a celebration if ever there was one for all us #beerlovers.
Beer is the beverage that brings out the Homer Simpson in all of us – guys and girls – that puts us in the party mood at concerts and sporting events and, as the sign in a few bars says, “has been helping ugly people have sex for hundreds of years.”
Beer is ideal for when you’re at the beach or the lake, sitting outside on a hot day, in a bar ready to rock for the night, you name it.

Beer also has huge advantages over other alcoholic beverages.
It’s better than spirits for all-day party events because you can drink a lot more beers than you can cocktails. You can also pace yourself better, enabling you to last all day and even into the night at events like New Orleans Jazzfest or Jimmy Buffett concerts.
It has the advantage over wine in that you can pound it. There’s no such thing as a wine bong, for example. And you certainly can’t shotgun a bottle of wine like you can a can of beer.
With the explosion – at least in America – of craft and speciality beers, there’s now more of a variety of brews than any other type of beverage, alcohol or otherwise. There’s everything from a light lager to a heavy dark stout with everything in between that brewmasters can, well, craft.
But with beer, all you really need is the beer. A good, cold beer – no matter the type – is good any day or night of the year. And PubClub.com gives a big cheers to beers and National Beer Day!
