Carlsbad and wine go together like flowers in fields and it’s a pairing that brings back a popular wine festival.
The California Wine Festival Carlsbad returns to San Diego on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29 at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. It features renowned winemaking regions across California, some beers and spirits, appetizers from many of North San Diego County’s top restaurants, plus a band and lifestyle exhibitors.
“We founded this event in hopes that wine enthusiasts can engage with representatives from wineries that they already know and love, while also discovering new wines that they’ve never heard of,” said Emily Kaufmann, Executive Director, California Wine Festival. “Our guests can discover crisp, refreshing whites to full-bodied reds from regions as far south as Temecula to as far north as Mendocino County without having to travel far from home!”
One of four California Wine Festival events – the others being in Santa Barbara, Dana Point and Huntington Beach – it features rare and reserve vintages and well-known bottles from California’s best vineyards based in Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, Temecula and beyond.
