If the thought of drinking a zero-sugar wine makes you whine, then wind down with a glass from Lifevine Wines.
Because you will probably wind up having two glasses. Or three.
This is due to the fact that Lifevine doesn’t taste like you might expect a zero-sugar wine. to taste. In fact, you won’t even be aware of it until you get on the scale. Frankly, Lifevine zero-sugar wines are good quality wines with excellent taste and the fact that they don’t contain any sugar is a bonus.
Bottled in Oregon, which has become a robust wine-growing region, the organic grapes are sourced from growers in the Sierra Nevadas.
Varietals include Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, California Rose, Red Blend, the sparkling Blanc de Blanc, California Cabernet Sauvignon and California Chardonnay and are very moderately priced at just $21.99.
It is good – very good, actully – to note that the zero sugar wines do not compromise the alcohol content. There are no additives added and facts and ingredients are listed on every bottle. If you don’t believe my tastes, then know that I shared a bottle of the Cab with several people and they had to double-check the bottle to believe it is zero sugar.

I have had the Sauvignon Blanc and the Cabernet Sauvignon, The Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and has more of a richness than standard sauvignon blancs, which I often find to be to “thin” to my liking. Not so with the Lifevine Wines. The cabernet sauvignon is bold without being boastful. You know you have a cab but it doesn’t overpower you or leave you with the taste lingering in your mouth.
All of the grapes are grown under organic conditions and harvested at the peak of ripeness with an eye towards keeping alcohol levels modest. The focus is on making minimal intervention wines that are fresh and flavorful and can be consumed without the worry that they contain any harmful chemicals, toxins or pesticides.
The Lifevine Wines website is as follows and it also contains a section on where to find its wines: Lifevine Wines – Zero Sugar Wine.
