Laissez Les Bons Temps Roule Attitude Keeps The Party Rolling In The Big Easy

Let the good times roll.
And they do in New Orleans, even when a hurricane rolls through town.
Katrina was a devastating punch but eventually the city recovered. Isaac dumped rain on a swamp and more than half the city’s residents lost power. But Bourbon Street will be Bourbon Street again within a few days.
That’s the way things are in the Big Easy. They face disaster and let it roll off their shoulders like dropped beads at Mardi Gras.
After all, they put up with the Saints all those years of last-place finishes. And Les Miles.
Isaac certainly raised alertness on the anniversary of Katrina, but thankfully it left with only wind and rain. The levees held and so, too, did the spirit of the locals.
If you’ve got a trip planned to New Orleans, then don’t hesitate to go there. The party spirit is still alive and those good times are ready to roll again.
