Single People With No Valentine Should Do Like Californians And Go Out For These Cheap Eats

Don’t have a date for Valentine’s Day?
Don’t want a date for Valentine’s Day?
Want to kick the expensive, fancy dinner to the curb, but still want to go out on Valentine’s Day?
Then head to your nearest cantina and celebrate Taco Tuesday.
Taco Tuesday is a weekly event in Southern California beach cities up and down the coast, from San Diego to Santa Monica. Restaurants and bars that serve tacos discount them and offer drink specials and that has turned what is normally a slow evening into one a big bar night.
In fact, at OB’s in Manhattan Beach, it’s actually the busiest night of the entire week. Some people even go in for the “10 Taco Challenge,” an attempt to down double figures of the things (and the tacos at OB’s are almost the size of burritos). The winner gets his – or her – name on a plaque.
So what if your city or town doesn’t have a Taco Tuesday? Well, ask them to create one. Or create one yourself by gathering up a bunch of friends and going out and ordering a bunch of tacos.
Heck, just go out with a bunch of friends and all order the same thing, something that goes great with beers, such as burgers.
One thing you do NOT want to do on Valentine’s Day if you just had a Valentine or want a Valentine or are just out to meet someone who is looking for a Valentine, and that’s to stay home.
Make it your themed Valentine’s Day dinner. Without the date and a big check to pay at the end of it.
