“What color is the sky in your world?”
What is it and what does it mean? This is an explanation and with an example provided on how and when to use it.
“What color is the sky in your world?,” is a phrase cool people use to clueless people who are oblivious to the obvious. In short, the sky is blue to most of us. To others, you have to wonder.
Here is a good example from a recent personal experience.
A supposed friend turned into a hound dog and moved in – behind my back – on a girl I had invited to visit me. Without my asking or approval he got her number and started texting her. Because he has money and the girl obviously likes men who spend money on her, she started ignoring me and hanging out with him.
As a result ,I quit all communications with both until several months later she called to say she had not heard from him in a while. Assuming we were still friends – as IF! – she asked if I could help put her in touch with him.
This presented the perfect time for me to use the phrase “what color is the sky in your world?”
You see, she was clueless. Oblivious to the obvious.
I can think of no better example of what the phrase means and when and how to use it than this one.
