Legendary Rock Band Doing Two Concerts on Labor Day Weekend Sept. 1-2
It’s not exactly Hotel California, but if you check in here for concerts, you may never leave.
Revel Beach, a new hotel and resort in Atlantic City, opened with Beyonce’s first concert in a year on Memorial Day, and now has booked the Eagles for Labor Day Weekend. Put the pink champagne on ice.
The Eagles – Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit – be at Revel’s Ovation Hall on Saturday and Sunday, September 1 and 2. Tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster on Friday, July 20 at 10 a.m., EDT at all Ticketmaster locations, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. A special ticket presale for American Express cardmembers begins Monday, July 16 at 10 a.m. So if you’re Desperado so see them, get on the phone or keyboard.
The legendary rock band will perform classics from the band’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame career as well as hits from band members’ solo careers. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., so it won’t exactly be a Tequila Sunrise, but there’s plenty of opportunities for that and more at Revel’s bars throughout the day.
The Eagles’ Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the best-selling album of all time with more than 29 million sales. The Eagles were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
