Singer is at Caesars Palace in June, July and August After Vocal Cord Injury

Those Caesars Palace Las Vegas commercials that end with Celine Dion getting a rose can continue to be on the air. After a vocal cord injury ended her run at The Colosseum prematurely in February, she’s now back with a whopping 36 shows in three months this summer.
And you can see her for as low as $55, quite the bargain for big-name acts in Sin City.
“I had a rough time a few months ago, but I’m back to 100% and I can’t wait to do the show,” she said.
Here’s her summer performance dates:
June:
9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30
July:
1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 24, 25, 28, 29, 31
Aug:
1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19
Dion was not exactly sitting idle this spring. Once recovered, she began recording songs for her next English and French CDs which will be released later this year.
The French CD has all new material while the English CD contains studio versions of previously unreleased songs from her Las Vegas show as well as several brand new songs.
“We do a lot of songs in the show that I’ve never recorded before and people are always asking for these when they visit our boutique, so it’s great that we’ll finally have these recorded.” she said. “I’ve also received some amazing new songs that I’m very excited about and eventually we hope to put one or two of these into the show.”
Ticket prices at Caesars are $55, $95, $140, $175 and $250, plus fees. To purchase, call 877-4CELINE (877-423-5463) or go to www.thecolosseum.com.
Dion had first gained international recognition in the 1980s by winning both the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest where she represented Switzerland.`
