Omaha’s Bank Of the West Celebrates America Concert & Fireworks Show Taking Audition Tapes
If you’re in a band that thinks it’s the Heart of Rock ‘n Roll, Then This is It.
The Bank of the West Celebrates America concert and fireworks show, taking place June 29 in Omaha, Nebraska, is taking audition tapes from bands that want to serve as the opening act at the event. Taking the stage later will be Huey Lewis and The News and Mockingbird Sun.
The Bank of the West Celebrates America takes place at Memorial Perk in Omaha and is one of the West’s largest outdoor free concerts attracting more than 50,000 people.
Up-and-coming bands need to submit a live performance video by May 15. Contest judges include top talent agencies Warner Atlantic Records, Creative Artists Agency and Romeo Entertainment Group. The judges will consider musical talent, such as musical ability, expertise and originality of music, and star power, including stage presence, personality and creativity.
Online public voting for the winning band will be June 1-15, 2012 on Bank of the West’s Facebook page. Bank of the West will announce the winning band in mid-June.
Contest details are on the Bank of the West Facebook page, http://GoWe.st/CelebratesAmerica.
