GA, GA+ VIP Tickets Go In Record Time For Electronic Music Festival
Tickets for this electronic music festival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway sold out in record time when they went on sale in September. The event takes place May 20-22. It took less than 48 hours for all GA, GA+ and VIP tickets to be gobbled up, and the lineup has still yet to be announced. While it’s common for tickets to sell out, this was was a record-breaking time for ticket sales.
Insomniac Founder & CEO Pasquale Rotella took to his Instagram to break the news:
“Thank you, EDC Las Vegas Headliners. The success of this festival and the magic of EDC would not be possible without you. I can’t wait to be with you Under the Electric Sky!”
People from around the world travel to Vegas to experience this event. Its energy, creativity and overwhelming feeling of acceptance and community have drawn more than three million attendees from nearly 100 countries and all 50 states since its move to Las Vegas in 2011.
The event features an entire EDM experience from DJs, stages, lights, art and artists carnival rides – including EDC’s trademark Ferris wheels – and eight stages of music.
Even with its success, Electric Daisy Carnival continues to evolve. In 2019, it utilized different parts of the speedway that included a massive kineticENERGY stage that spanned over 450 feet long and 90 feet high and theatrical performer troupes that involved dancers and stilt walkers.
