Using Social Media To Enhance Your Social Life

If ever there were a ripe environment for getting laid, it is that of music festivals.
First of all, there are so many of them now that the sheer odds are working in your favor. Miss out at one and thee’s likely to be another one in your area within a few weeks.
Secondly, they have every element set up for you on a silver platter: a party atmosphere, lots of music to get girls in the “cut loose” frame of mind and then there is the alcohol. Mass amounts of it, consumed at a brisker pace than at even a happening bar and for a longer period of time, from daytime to the last set.
And now, with everyone having their phones with them and posting selfies, photos and videos on social media, there’s a golden opportunity to hook up at music festivals utilizing Instagram and Facebook.
If you know what you are doing, of course. And that’s what this article is all about, how to utilize these social media tools to meet girls (or, for you women out there, how to meet guys you want to sleep with) at music festivals.
• You Need To Have Game
To begin with – and this won’t work otherwise – you’ve got to have game. If you can’t talk it up no tool in the shed is going to help you with the women.
• Where/How To Meet The Women
The best places to meet people at festivals are in line at the beer and booze booths. You can easily start conversations such as “what are you getting to drink,” and make some comment about the length of the line, how hot the weather is, etc. Start with the small talk and be sure to communicate with everyone in the girls’ group, not just the one you are eyeballing. Because if you don’t, one girl will cut you off and pull away the others.
Another great place to meet women at festivals are at the vendor booths. Women love to shop, if only to browse. One big advantage here is that you’re usually away from other people so you can have a more individual conversation and you have a chance to really get her attention.
• Get Those Social Media Accounts
Getting phone numbers is as old as the acts at “Oldchella.” The way to do things now is to be friends on Facebook or “let’s follow each other on Instagram.” Don’t be hitting on her (or him), just share a few laughs and make it seem casual, like you just want to hang out later.
• Utilizing Those Social Media Accounts
By having her (or his) Instagram and Facebook accounts, you can then literally follow that person around for the day and night. By looking at their posts, you can see what bands they are watching and where they are in the audience. This will enable you to show up there and “accidentally” bump into them. “Oh hey!,” you can say, and then start to cash in on what you started earlier when you became “friends” or followers.
Oh, and sure not to use their location to stalk somebody. If you’re always there, it ruins the effect and you will scare her away. She will also likely un-friend you.
• Search Early, Score Late
Don’t be in a horndog hurry to score with someone. Plant the seeds early in the day. Ask her (or him) what bands they are going to see and then show up there later. Ask her (or him) to meet you at a specific location, ideally one without a lot of other people Do this with a number of girls (or guys). Maybe the person will be there or won’t be there, but always go there at the designated time. If that person is there, then you’ve got a pretty good chance of getting laid.
• The Dollar Bill Theory
The final tip may be the most important one: Adjust your standards. Mr. Lay Vegas, in his tips for getting laid in Las Vegas, calls this the “Dollar Bill Theory.” Say you find a dollar bill on the ground at the festival. You’re going to pick it up, right? It’s the same with girls. You may be seeking a $5, $10 or $20 but if there’s someone of less value staring you in the face and presenting an opportunity to get laid, take it! Maybe you won’t pick up a dime or a quarter but pick up that dollar bill.
