San Diego Wine & Food Chef Winner’s New Drink May Get You Buzzed

Just in time for the holidays, there’s a new cocktail to sample.
It’s called the Bee Sting, and it was created by a chef (hey, the Bar Blogger knows from personal experience that chefs like cocktails as much as they do food!), Aron Schwartz of Marina Kitchen for a contest during this past November’s San Diego Wine & Food Festival.
Were he to concoct another one called The Butterfly, then it would be a combo that Muhammad Ali would have loved in his prime. For one would float you like a butterfly while the other stings you like a bee. For now, though, here’s the recipe for the Bee Sting.
Try it out at a Holiday party and see if your guests get buzzed!
• 2 oz Bärenjäger Honey & Bourbon
• 1 oz Apple Brandy
• 1 Tablespoon Yuzu Juice
• ¼ Tablespoon Chili Syrup
• 3 oz Sparkling Apple Cider
• Garnish with Yuzu Twist
Serve on the Rocks;
