This Flu Remedy Calls For Tequila Shots and a Jacuzzi. Hey, it Works!
My neighbor is feeling ill. Has had the flu a couple of days. Still, she’s considering coming to Happy Hour with me.
Perhaps these were the inspiring words: “You need tequila.”
Hey, it’s my cure. Whenever I’m feeling ill, I take a shot. Or two. Or three.
Actually, if you’re really feeling like crap, then do this, and you’ll be back at Happy Hour in no time:
• Get in a jacuzzi, turn up the heat and remain there as long as you can stand it.
• After the jacuzzi – yes, afterward, not during – take a shot of tequila. Don’t make it the cheap stuff; Cuervo Gold is as low as you should go). Wait a few minutes, then have another shot.
• Repeat above step as necessary.
Does it work? Well, when you get a fever your body is raising your body temperature as a way to make you recover. So getting in the jacuzzi does the same thing, only quicker. Plus, it’s more fun than having a fever!
And as far as the tequila, you’ll certainly feel better after a few shots. “Flu!?,” you’ll say. “Who cares!”
