LAX & JFK Get Extended Service To Dusseldorf
The German airline airberlin has added three cities to its network and is expanding service at two others to greater serve destinations from the USA, it has announced.
The airline added Boston, San Francisco and Dallas Fort Worth beginning in May 2016. It is also adding one additional weekly flight from Los Angeles (LAX) and New York (JFK) to Dusseldorf.
“Demand for flights to the US remains high, and with three new destinations we can offer even more travel options and combinations to our passengers on both sides of the Atlantic,” said Stefan Pichler, Chief Executive Officer at airberlin.
“All three new destinations present a great deal of potential in the important business travel market, where we aim to score points thanks to a stable route network and our excellent product.”
Flights from DFW and San Francisco started in May. From Dallas, it is now operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights from San Francisco will take place three days a week before expanding to five days in June (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays).
Service from Boston operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
