COVID-19 Pandemic Opens The Door To Creative Thinking
We have basically been ordered to stay in our homes or apartments and even if we wanted to go somewhere, no place is open, all due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
But rather than shutting doors, we can use this time to open new doors to travel and adventure.
Eventually, we will be able to get out and go places and now is a good time to be researching and thinking of destinations and events we want to go when travel is again an entertainment option for people around the globe.
Where is it you’ve wanted to go but have never been to, or what destination have you wanted to revisit but have not returned to in a while? For me, at the the top of the latter is the Greek Islands. July is primetime to visit for us single people, and that timeframe is certainly still a possibility for it to happen this year.
I also have a whole bucket list of events to attend, whenever they start up again. The Kentucky Derby with it raucous infield, for instance. It has been rescheduled to Labor Day Weekend, which certainly would make for a crazy first weekend of September.
It would be great to do a tour of college football games and college towns around the country for a series of PubClubLIVE broadcasts from the various campuses. We already have one under our belt, as we went to the University of Alabama last fall for the Third Saturday Of October.
I would like to take a road trip back up to beautiful Carmel and Monterey on the California coast, go back to Hawaii and especially Waikiki Beach, over to Europe to go through France with stops in party cities Amsterdam and Berlin.
Heck, I pretty much want to go everyplace and now is the time to dream, because dreaming of travel inspires the soul and helps keep us positive during this difficult time.
