On the fourth anniversary of the show’s launch, PubClub LIVE!, will be broadcasting from ShamROCK, San Diego’s Sat. Patrick’s Day block party.
The event and the broadcast will take place on Saturday, March 16, from the Gaslamp Quarter, which has an all-day and Irish-themed festival with step dancers, bands and, of course beer.
Co-hosts The Kevbeaux and Sole Cole will be roaming up and down Sixth Ave., doing live shots thoughout the events, conducting interviews with the patrons, bands and “everyone else we come across who is fun,” The Kevbeaux said.
It will air on the podcast’s Facebook page, PubClub LIVE!
The show made its debut four years ago during the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Hermosa Beach, CA. Broadcasting from the balcony of Tower 12 in on Pier Plaza. It set the stage for a unique type of podcast, one that was decribed by a hospitality PR executive as “a live video podcast.” It was the first of its kind and since that debut has had guests ranging from the head of the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce to , along with musicial guests and Magic Castle magician David Kristopher and Rock n’ Roll icon Sammy Hagar.
ShamROCK San Diego has two stages of bands playing everyting from classic Irish music to a Guns ‘N Roses cover band. There are also fun and sillly games and, as previously mentioned, lots of beer! Wouldn’t be a St. Patrick’s Day party without it.
