Manhattan Beach Polliwog Park 2017 Summer Concerts Add To Calendar

WHAT: Free concerts in a park that’s as much about a weekend wind down picnic as the actual music. It’s important to note this is not on the beach but about 2 miles from the pier. You can bring your own food and drinks, including alcohol.

THE BANDS: The Pine Mountain Logs are a South Bay bar legend, Shari Puorto is a very popular local rock/blues singer with an incredible band and there are tribute bands to The Beatles & U2.

THE SCENE: People spread out on blankets with coolers and picnic baskets sharing food and drinks among friends. Mostly dates, boyfriend/girlfriend, friends and families in a relaxed setting.

SINGLES SCENE: Okay to good depending on the band. The Pine Mountain Logs and Beatles tribute band will bring out the most singles.
