It all started with the cleverly-named Rehab, a daytime pool party to help hard-drinking partiers “rehabilitate” from a night in the clubs.

And now it’s as much a part of the Las Vegas party scene as the clubs themselves. Promoters have even coined a term for it: daylife.

The pool party scene runs from April into September and most of them take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The other days, the bars are open at the pool but it’s not the same wild, party scene as it is on the weekends.

Expect to pay up to $50 for guys and $20 for girls to get into the party. A good strategy is to stay at the hotel where you want to go to a pool party; you can get in for free or for a discount.

Rehab at the Hard Rock has DJs, regular bikinis contests and casting call competitions.
