Novo Brazil Brewing Company has brought its Brazilian-style beer and flavor to Imperial Beach.
The 7,500-square foot restaurant and brewery with a capacity of 283 is on the south end of San Diego Bay with views of the Coronado Bridge and downtown skyline. The IB location is the fourth in the San Diego area with others in Otay Ranch, and National City with its headquarters in Chula Vista.
Novo Brazil Brewing Company in IB has a whopping 64 taps, serving all NOVO beers and its other lines of beverages: NOVA easy kombuchas (hard and non-alcoholic), California Spritz beer cocktails and hard seltzers.
“I am thrilled to extend our footprint of award-winning beers, easy kombuchas, hard seltzers, tasty food, and vibrancy and flare to the great City of Imperial Beach,” said founder Tiago Carneiro. “Our view of San Diego Bay with the bridge and skyline in the distance is unique to the South Bay, and I hope residents and visitors alike will come by to enjoy our family-friendly environment. It is certainly the place to meet, hang out, and watch a game.”
Beer prices are as good – or better – as you’ll find at any San Diego brewery – $7:50-8.50 for a pint with most costing $8.
The new location features the same menu as the Otay Ranch mall location, which includes empanadas, skewers, burritos, burgers and steaks. There are two 23-foot LED television screens for watching sports – including Brazilian soccer, no doubt – and there is also a patio.
Its hours are daily Noon-10 p.m.
