Popular South Bay Restaurant And Bar Serves Up Discounted Weeknight And Saturday Cocktails

When FishBar moved into the original Sharkeez location in Manhattan Beach, it’s owner wanted to welcome in the neighborhood.
So he brought in a great chef, Jessica, put together a delicious menu consisting primary of seafood, and priced it ridiculously cheap considering the quality of the food. You can get Baja fish tacos for less than 10 bucks and dinners are in the mid-teens.
He also stocked the bar with outgoing and friendly bartenders and the result has been a lively scene for both food and drinks. The place is packed, or at least fairly busy, every night of the week.
And now, FishBar is catering more to the drinkers by offering “Reverse” Happy Hours after many of the diners have paid their tabs. From Sunday thru Thursday it’s full Happy Hour drink prices are in effect and on Saturday nights there are specialty drink specials.
The Reverse Happy Hour starts at 9 :30p.m., and goes until midnight. It featured $3 domestic beers (except Longboard Larger, darn it!), house wines and cocktails (including margaritas, which are quite good; in fact, this is the best margarita deal in the South Bay), and $5 Absolut cocktails. There are no food specials as with the regular Happy Hour (which ends at 6 p.m., Monday thru Friday) but the kitchen is open until 11 p.m.
The Saturday Happy Hour goes from 10:30 p.m.-2 a.m., and consists of $5 Absolut cocktails, $6 Jameson cocktails and $7 Absolut martinis.
FishBar is a friendly, comfortable restaurant and bar and its popularity with beach locals will only continue with these great evening Happy Hours.
Cheers!
