I love blogging and now I am blog lovin’ at the Bloglovin’ website. It’s an additional platform for me to get the word out about the cool things I write about here on PubClub.com.
The topics I write about are nightlife (pubs and clubs, get it!?), music (band and concerts), special events (beer, wine. food and music festivals), travel (destinations around the world), sports (hey, I began my career as a sportswriter on daily newspapers) and pop culture (wahtever is topical at the moment).
Many articles are how-to guides with boots-on-the-ground descriptions of how to go places and do things like a local. You can use the pull-down menu on the right side (desktop) or bottom (mobile device) to get the full list of destinations and events around the globe.
The tagline of PubClub.com is “Where The World Goes To Party,” but I also tell people the content is “about anywhere in the world you can have a drink in your hand.” They seem to like that description. It’s pretty accurate, too!
Some of the places I have been are Amsterdam, Australia, the Greek Islands, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico and all over the United States. I have currently been to, oh let’s see, 40-something states. I live in California, have spent a lot of time in the South (Tennessee, Alabama and Florida and I worked at the newspaper in Savannah, GA) and traveled extensively in the past for public relations clients and agencies.
PubClub.com was actually created during those PR travels. It has been around for more than 20 years, making it one of the original websites on the Internet.
