Hermosa Beach Summer Concert Series.

WHAT: Free concerts on the beach each Sunday in August in Hermosa Beach, CA. The location is the south side of the pier.

WHEN: 5 p.m.-Sunset

BANDS: • Aug. 6 – Robert Randolph & The Family Band with special guests The Reluctant Apostles Featuring Katie Segal; Aug.  13 – Everclear; Aug. 20– Day Of The Dead. Cubenses (Grateful Dead tribute band) plus Marvin Seals of the Jerry Garcia Band;  Aug. 27 – Super Diamond (Neil Diamond tribute band)

THE SCENE: More than 5,000 mostly South Bay locals spread out blankets and bring beach chairs and treat this as a picnic on the sand.

SINGLES SCENE: Excellent opportunities for singles.
