Sexy Girls And Cheering Squads Enhance Sidelines Of Sporting Events
First of all, every male who watches pro football should thank Tex Schramm. As the original president and long-time General Manager of the Dallas Cowboys, he’s the one who created the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the first of the hot, sexy sideline girls that’s now a par of every professional sports franchise.
This spawned a new era of entertainment blended with sports, down to the famous Laker Girls.
Now, of course, every NFL sideline has cheerleaders. But here’s how they differ from their college counterparts.
1.) NFL Cheerleaders Don’t Cheer As Much As College Cheerleaders
The main role of NFL Cheerleaders is to look sexy on the sidelines. The movement of pom-poms and leg kicks are just an addition to their real role: to add beauty to the pageantry of the games. In college, the primary role is to cheer on the team.
2.) NFL Cheerleaders Are Hot, Sexy And Have Large Breasts
Let’s face it, the girls are hot. They are supposed to be hot. They are dressed are in skimpy outfits that press their breasts together and many have ample cleavage. College cheerleaders may also be hot and sexy but there’s a lot of small girls, some of f which are built more like gymnasts than models.
3.) Fans Watch NFL Cheerleaders And Cheer With College Cheerleaders
NFL cheerleaders don’t really inspire fans to cheer, but college cheerleaders do with megaphones and even holding up signs that say “DEFENSE” or “MAKE NOISE.”
4.) College Cheerleaders Do More Than Football Games
Of course, NFL cheerleaders only go to the games of their team, which is the NFL. College cheerleaders also cheer at basketball games, pep rallies, sometimes even gymnastics and other sporting events of the school. There are also often two, three or even four different squads of college cheerleaders.
5.) There Are Male Cheerleaders In College
You wont’t find that in the NFL! (Thank goodness). This is actually an extension of point #1 because the male cheerleaders often boost up the girls to cheer.
Regardless of their roles, and be they sexy, great-looking or simply just cute, cheerleaders add a lot to all sporing events.

We agree with most of your points but NFL cheerleaders exist primarily for the male audience. They were started by the Dallas Cowboys, who wanted to sell sex appeal to build the profile and PR for the team. And it worked. — PubClub.com

Respectfully, this is a HORRIBLE article. Cheerleaders put in so much more work than you think for you to only sexualize them and focus on their bodies, which is quite literally disgusting. It’s very sad that much of the talent that cheerleaders hold can not be displayed after they leave university, because NFL cheerleaders do not perform in competitions like colleges do. Cheerleaders have such a big part in the culture of sports – and VERY few people acknowledge that. Everyone can throw a football, dribble a basketball, but not everyone can support their team the way cheerleaders do. They deserve much better. They deserve higher pay, more freedom and change. It’s about time for it. And I’ll have you know that the NFL does have it’s first male cheerleaders ever now – so to your “thank goodness there aren’t male cheerleaders in the NFL” or “they lift the girls up” points (in which they do so much more than that), there would be and IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THERE BEING MALE CHEERLEADERS IN THE NFL. I don’t see any issues, would you like to tell me why you disagree? Next time you watch your favorite team play give some damn respect to cheerleaders – because they’re more than just “SEXY, HOT BABES”. Oh and also – do some damn research. The article is EXTREMELY poorly written. You clearly don’t know a damn thing about ANY of it – cheerleading. Oh and by the way, you have a few typos here and there 🙂 so either fix up the article or delete it permanently. And again, give those CHEERLEADERS some respect.
