Brisbane Resident, A Flight Attendant, Soars To Title
A tall blonde from Brisbane has won the title of 2013 Miss V8 Supercars as part of the race weekend at Surfer’s Paradise, Australia.
Estelle Yarrow, whose occupation is a flight attendant, won the title in a competition with 23 other girls from throughout Australia and even New Zealand. The event was the crowning moment – literally – of a months-long competition put on by Procon Leisure that saw more than 1,000 girls enter the pageant.
Finishing second was the lively Becky Gilbert and third was the gorgeous Prudence McEniery.
Yarrow was one of 24 finalists to make it to Surfer’s Paradise during the V8 Supercars weekend. And a busy week they have had, starting with a race welcoming VIP party, a photo shoot and media greeting at the host Watermark hotel, interview judging, sportswear judging and swimwear judging. Yarrow was announced as the winner on the big “sand stage” on Saturday night that also involved a series of rock concerts.
All the girls have graced the track in their attractive blue grid suits, visited corporate suites, taken thousands of photos with VIPs and fans, and been on the grid and Victory Circle for the races.
I’ve been fortunate enough to be right there with them the entire time and can say that Estelle is a great winner. She has the looks, a real turbocharged figure and a dynamic personality that kept bringing me into her conversations.
All the girls are winners in a way because they had to win local competitions just to get to the finals.
So congrats to all the girls!
Cheers1
