The Maddy, as locals call it, is four floors of fun with outdoor patios, dancing and even has a piano room. PubClub.com likes to think of it as somewhat of a large fraternity house, as it located in a Victorian house. Three houses, actually, all interconnected to one another to make for a heck of a great party bar.
While rocking Fridays and Saturdays, it where locals and visitors in the know go on Thursdays.
There are several bars and it’s like a big house party – a frat party!? – with a lively, fun crowd in a casual yet lively atmosphere. Don’t like the scene in one room? No problem – just go to another room. The Maddy is like being in several bars while actually being in one bar. And that’s part of what makes it such a great party place.
People tend to start out on the top-level patio and then wander inside and out to the other floors. Eventually, as the night wears on, they all seem to wind up in the basement where on Fridays and Saturdays a professional plays the piano. Yes, there is a piano room. The Maddy is also a popular place for watching big sporting events.
