The Swedish Journey To Take Place In Netherlands In July

The wildly popular DJ music event known as The Flying Dutch – in which DJs fly in by helicopter to perform before a crowd of tens of thousands of screaming fans – is bringing in top DJs from Sweden for a one-day party this summer in the Netherlands.

On Saturday 30 July  top of Swedish DJs, who have never performed together, will come to the Netherlands. Avicii, Alesso, Cazzette, Dada Life, Icona Pop, John Dahlbäck & SEBJAK, Otto Knows and Steve Angello will be flown by helicopter for a unique festival where they will perform at three separate locations throughout the country.

The concept is to bring in 10 DJs to three cities in one day to a total of 100,000 fans. The locations for the Swedish event have yet to be announced, but the inaugural one for Dutch DJs was held in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven.

A second event of Dutch DJs in April sold out nearly instantly, proving the popularity of this one-of-a-kind event. It goes from noon-11 p.m.

There have been rumors of an event featuring Swedish DJs for some time and organizers confirmed its existence in late March. The next trick for those wanting to attend is getting tickets.
