La Colección Resorts Introduces ‘Hot Summer’ Extravaganza’ At All-Inclusive Adults Resort
The pool parties – so called “day clubs” – that have made Las Vegas sizzle under the sun have come to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The La Colección Resorts introduces “Hot Summer’ Extravaganza,” two months of themed pool parties that features a lineup of six Mexican artists including DJs and fashion designers. They take place in July and August at its Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta all-inclusive adults-only property.
“Hot Summer Extravaganza is the ideal time for travelers who want to unwind with festive fun during the summer months and immerse even further into Mexican culture,” said Alain Berthelot, Managing Director of Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta. “We are proud to showcase the work of these rising Mexican artists as part of Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta’s Hot Summer Extravaganza.”
Here’s some of the DJs and fashion designers that will be at the pool parties:
• Rodrigo Gonzalez Baez (Simplyrod): Simplyrod has hosted more than 1,200 events, parties and overnights at distinguished hotels, clubs, bars and restaurants throughout Mexico.
• Chloe Mohe is a professional DJ and French-Mexican jewelry designer who established MOHE in 2013. Today Chloe has developed a jewelry and accessories line that was inspired by her French mother who was a model as well as her international travels throughout her life.
• Alejandro Carlin is a Mexican fashion designer who owns two clothing brands “Lola de Alejandro” and “Alejandro Carlin.” Having studied fashion in Milan and London, Carlin has had a successful fashion career, and has been featured in shows such as the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Mexico, SIMM (International Fashion Week in Madrid), and Sony Mexico Top Model, among others. Carlin has dressed several celebrities including Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Paulina Rubio, and the First Lady of Mexico, Angelica Rivera.
• David Salomon is a Mexican fashion designer of Lebanese decent. Salomons’ artistic vision focuses on simple lines and Hippie Chic style. He has dressed celebrities like Kate Walsh, Teri Hatcher, Roselyn Sánchez, Eva Longoria, Lupita Jones, and Giselle Blondet, among many others. He’s also been featured in international media outlets and Red Carpet award shows.
