The Best Pickup Locations For Those Seeking The #SinglesLife
Ski Resorts are great places to go if your single.
You get to meet people different areas, you have something in common with everyone there because you’re at a ski resort and everyone is drinking when they are not skiing or snowboarding.
Or, int case of European resorts, they are taking two hour breaks to do drinking (Americans are more concerned with getting in a certain number of runs because the lift ticket prices are so high. THEN they party).
But where, exactly do you actually meet those people? Here’s the answer.
1.) Ski Apres
These are the after-slopes bars where all the fun people go to party off he slopes. If you’re lucky, the resort only has one so there’s only one place to go, and everyone is in it.
2.) The Lift Lines
Get in the “singles’ line and yell out “single!”
3.) Lunchtime Huts On The Mountain
These places are so crowded you’ve got to plop down and sit with strangers. You can also meet them in the food lines. This is a great place to set the table to meet at the apres bar.
4.) The Nighttime Bars
This, of course, is a given. Ski Resorts have bars ,pubs, clubs and lounges with fireplaces. If you’ve not planted the seeds earlier in the day to meet someone out in a particular place, then the bars provide a great new opportunity for it.
5.) The Ski & Snowboard Rental Shops
Even if you own your own equipment, pop into the ski rental shops. Pretend you are there to buy something or to rent. When you see someone waiting for help in the rental section, this is your cue to move in and start a conversation.
