For those seeking a good drink special in Encinitas, Temaki Bar: Handroll, Sushi, Sake has “Martini Thursdays” with $7 martinis every, well, Thursday.
That is more than half off the regular marini price of $16. It goes from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. The trick, if there is one, is that to the deal you also need to orader a meal. On the martini menu is the follwing: espresso martini, lemon drop martini, dirty martini and lychee martini, each crafted to complement Temaki’s bold sushi and seafood-forward menu.
Dishes to pair with the pours include the Dragon Roll, made with krab, shrimp tempura, cucumber, gobo, eel, sweet soy, goma and avocado, priced at $18; the Southtown, a cut roll, made with avocado, shrimp tempura, gobo, spicy tuna, jalapeño, sweet soy, ponzu and cilantro, priced at $22; spicy tuna crispy rice, featuring fried sushi rice, chili garlic and citrus ponzu, priced at $14; and more. Temaki’s menu also features monthly rotating specials.
Its hours are 11 a.m.-9p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
