NOLA’s Dragon’s Den Providing Two Kinds Of Shots In A Party Celebration Setting
To help the partying get going once again in the Big Easy, one bar is offering a free shot. As well as a vaccination.
Dragon’s Den on Esplanade Ave., is giving out a Johnson & Johnson vaccine shot followed by a the kind of shot you’re used to getting in a bar – one with alcohol.
It will be on Saturday, April 17, starting at 8:30 p.m. It will continue to provide both shots until supplies run out of the vaccine.
“Get your shot, then get your free #yakamein from our one and only @cheflindagreen and then walk over to the Den for your complimentary shot from the bar (21+). 8:30-11:30pm tomorrow night. Only in NOLA!,” the bar posted on its Facebook page. Yakamein, by the way, is beef noodle soup.
The vaccines are being administered by proper medical professionals from Crescent Care. They will also be taking care of the required official documentation of those being vaccinated.
In addition to the shots – both of them – a DJ will be spinning to provide a true party and celebration atmosphere.
Dragon’s Den is an historic two-level bar and event venue known for live music with bands from reggae to jazz. It has a large New Orleans-style courtyard and balcony overlooking Esplanade Avenue. It is located at the foot of Frenchmen Street on the corner of Frenchmen and Esplanade.
