Ready to go BOOM in DTLA?

On Saturday, June 4, Boomtown Brewery in downtown Los Angeles is hosting Boomfest 2022, a music and food festival.

The event features nine hours of bands – one hour each, so nine bands – from 3 p.m.-Midnight. Boomfest is a marathon celebration of all things involving beer, food and music.  It also has DJs, food trucks and Boomtown’s brewed-on-premises craft beers.

Admission is free, tho it is requested you register in advance, as space is limited. You can register on-line here.

Here is the lineup of bands for Boomfest 2022.

3:00PM – Mr. Max; “Old School Punk mixed with New School Indie Rock”
4:00PM –Paradise Vultures; “Riff-driven desert disco fueled by sex, drugs, and daddy issues”
5:00PM – Matamoska!; “OGs” of the current Ska movement
6:00PM – Sweet Gloom; “a new punk band with some familiar faces: Get Married’s Jaake Margo, Tiny Stills’ Chris Clark, and DeTour’s Morris Carrillo”
7:00PM – Sorry Kyle; L.A.’s new Emo/Pop-Punk band, fronted by Zach Villa from Rebel and a Basketcase
8:00PM – Gnarwhal Jrz.; “the kind of Desert/Alt/Surf/Rock band that has an easily observed natural connection”
9:00PM – Raised on TV; ”This indie rock band just got a new van!”
10:00PM – Tiny Stills; “A fifth wave emo rock band from Los Angeles, California made of friends who actually like each other”
11:00PM – The Bots; Garage punk music

Food Trucks At Boomfest

Here are the food trucks at Boomfest 2022: Breakfast Dreams; Gochu Gang; Philly Jay’s Steaks; Mexish Tacos; Eastside Cheesecakes. There are also vendors and attractions.
