Free Beer Festival In The South Bay On Saturday, Oct. 6

It takes place from 1-5 p.m., and it features several authentic German beers, an oompha band and a stein-holding contest with the winner getting a 24-ounce “boot” glass. This is an indoor and outdoor event with most of it taking place in the parking lot.
In addition to the beers, there is food. Brewport’s Executive Chef Andrew Fujii will be cooking up a selection of Germanic fare that will be available for purchase outside throughout the event.
The beers are as follows:
• Weinstephaner Oktoberfest (poured inside)
• Hofbräu Oktoberfest
• Stiegl Radler
• Hofbräu Original
• Hofbräu Marzen (poured inside)
• Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest
• Paulaner Munich Gold
• Paulaner Oktoberfest Weisn
• Paulaner Oktoberfest Märzen
• Krombacher Pilsner
The event is free; you purchase the beers and food.
Brewport Tap House is located at: 204 Main Street in El Segundo
The website is: www.brewporttaphouse.com/oktoberfest
And yes, this is the same day as the Hometown Fair beer garden in Manhattan Beach. So it’s big beer day in the South Bay!
