Going Bar ‘Hopping’ In The South Bay

Then put on a bunny costume, bunny ears, a cotton tail or anything else you can think of that fits the occasion and join the Joya Sangria Easter Egg Hunt & Pub Crawl in Hermosa Beach.
It is on Saturday, March 31 – the day before Easter Sunday – and hops around to six bars starting at 1 p.m. Here are the participating bars (note that the order of the bars visited is subject to change):
1. The Deck
2. Hennesseys
3. Lighthouse
4. Molloy’s
5. Junkie
6. The Standing Room
This is not just an event going from going from bar to bar; there’s an egg hunt and social element to it, as well. So there’s great interaction among “hoppers” who will be competing to win prizes hidden in the eggs.
The following information is from the organizer, Ray Dussault of 33 North Promotions:
“We are hiding ‘Easter Eggs’ all over Hermosa, in and out of the pub stops, and offering clues on social media on how and where to find them.
“Crack an egg to win a prize! Each egg is numbered and has a piece of paper telling you what prize you won. Bring the egg & paper to myself or co-bar hopping organizer Megg to collect your prize.”
Costumes are required to get a wristband for drink specials (TBD) and prizes. The costume can be either Easter or Spanish (get, it sangria?) themed. And if anyone can pull off dressing as a bottle of Joya Sangria, the will receive “special love,” according to Dussault.
There is no cost to participate but you must click “going” on this Facebook invitation.
So hop to it South Bay!
