#SundayFunday In The South Bay With Food & Drink Specials

Sundays in the South Bay is #SundayFunday with the great weather, playing beach volleyball, surfing and cruising The Strand barhopping on bicycles.
And, because a lot of singles live in the area, the bar scene is always on their mind. And here’s where to find the Sunday Happy Hours at the Hermosa Beach Pier.
Fenner’s, Mermaid & Patrick Molloy’s & HBYC Happy Hour Specials
• Fenner’s
This casual beach bar is now closed, being changed into a beach bungalow bar. Stil owned by Sharkeez, so don’t panic South Bay!

• The Mermaid
A popular place for locals from Happy Hour until closing, The Mermaid is a casual bar on The Strand. It’s deal is $5 drinks from 3-7 p.m., seven days a week. The beautiful bartenders really know how to make a cocktail and the speciality here is the Drink of the Week. Whatever it is, you can be assured it’s good.
The Mermaid has recently extended its Happy Hour to 7 p.m., and added a late-night Happy Hour, as well.
Happy Hour Specials: 3-7 p.m. and 10 p.m.-close. $5 select beers (changes weekly), house wines and Drink of the Week
• Patrick Molloy’s

This, along with Sharkeez, is the most lively bar on the Pier on Sundays. There’s live music and great food and drink specials. The most popular of the latter is the $3 beers (domestic).
For those who don’t have to work Monday – or who can get away with going in a bit wobby – this is a prime party place.
Happy Hour Specials: $3 domestic beer; $4 imported beer; 1/2 off all drinks; $1 fish tacos, french fries and chips & salsa; $2 fish taco & cheese quesadilla; $3 chicken or beef sliders, chicken skewers & cheese pizza.
HERMOSA BEACH YACHT CLUB BUBBLY & BLUES
This classic dive on at 66 Hermosa Ave., has a different kind of Happy Hour – bubbles and blues!
Every Sunday there’s a blues musician (which sometimes turns into a blues band) tucked into the corner with a great drink special: $3 champagne. Or mimosas. Or its exclusive “Hermosa Mimosa.”
Happy Hour Specials: Live blues (no cover), $3 champagne, mimosas or “Hermosa Mimosa.” $6 glass or $24 bottle of Menage a Trios wine. 6-8 p.m.
Cheers!
