How To Take Balloon Rides, Tickets, Wineries, Beer & Food
The 2018 dates are June 1-3, with the main day being Saturday, June 2. Balloon rides begin in the morning (keep reading on how to get a ride in a balloon), the music starts in the afternoon and goes until 11 p.m.
This is everything you need to know about the event, including the scene. Be sure and click the links at the bottom of this post for even more articles and features on this event.
Hours: The event opens at 8 a.m., on Saturday and Sunday and closes at about 11:30 p.m.
Wineries: There are 16 wineries from Temecula, each pouring four to five wines. They pout out of booths set up just past the entrance.
Beer: A lot of people – primarily those who come in late afternoons primarily just for the concerts – prefer to drink beer. There’s a huge beer station located between the small wine stage in the main festival grounds and the bigger main stage, as well as portable beer bars set up throughout the area.
Food: There are food vendors and also very popular are food and wine and food and beer pairings (separate pricing).
Tickets: Friday – $23 advance, $30 gate. Saturday – $33 & 40. Sunday, $23 & 30. Since the grounds are so big, there’s no danger of it selling out but go ahead and purchase in advance to get the discount. Note this is admission only; you buy tickets for wines and beers inside the festival.
Music Stages: There are two stages, with a small one next to some wine and merchandise tents and a bigger one that’s like a concert setup to the left of the primary wine tasting area. There’s a blocked-off VIP section here and you can either stand or sit on towels or your own chairs.
Main Stage Bands:
– Friday: Safety Orange (6 p.m.) Spin Doctors 7 p.m.) Sugar Ray (8:30 p.m.)
– Saturday:– Robot Nature (3:30 p.m.), Haabostank (4:30 p.m.,), Fuel (5:30 p.m.) Lifehouse (7 p.m.), The Wallflowers (8:30 p.m.)
– Sunday: – Luci (1 p.m.), Raelynne (1:45 p.m.), Tyler Farr (2:30 p.m.), Justin Moore (3:30 p.m.)
What To Bring: You can bring in chairs, beach towels and even pop-up camping tents to put down at the main concert area, as well as coolers with food and water (you can’t bring in alcohol for the obvious reason they sell it at the festival). Dress comfortably!

Hi. There are actually two campgrounds, one open to the public. Those spots go on sale a couple of months before the event and do tend to sell out quickly. For shade during the event, the trees along the row of wine booths are great. People come in, put down blankets and chairs, and even bring in coolers of food (you can’t bring in your alcohol for obvious reasons). Depending on the size of your group, PubClub recommends nabbing one of these spots by 10 or 11 a.m. Cheers!
