Week-Long Event Features Lunch & Dinner Deals
After a successful first year, DIne Out Long Beach is back for 2016. The dates for the week-long event are Feb. 28-March 5. It is sponsored by Gazette Newspapers.
Dine Out Long Beach showcases restaurants from across the city, among them Open Sesame, Brix at The Shore; Fuego at Hotel Maya; Russo’s Ristorante & Neighborhood Bar; Aji Peruvian Cuisine; P3 Aristan Pasta; E.J. Malloy’s Bixby Knolls, Belmont Heights and Los Altos; Café Sevilla; Papalucci’s and Dogz Bar and Grill.
Customers get two-course lunches starting at $10 and/or three-course dinners or small plates starting at $20. There are no tickets to purchase or passes required.
PubClub.com will publish the complete list of restaurants for 2016 when announced.
The event was created in 2015 by Elizabeth Borsting, who also co-founded the city’s first restaurant week in 2013 and runs a PR agency, Borsting PR.
For restaurants to participate, registration is $350 for single restaurants and $300 per location for restaurant groups that have multiple units or concepts. In return, restaurants are supported through advertising, marketing and PR campaigns.
In addition to Gazette Newspapers, the 2016 sponsors include JetBlue, KJAZZ 88.1, Uber, Greer’s OC, and Dreambox Creations.
