A #SundayFunday On Board The Famous Luxury Liner In Long Beach, CA
One of the best is aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
The Royal Sunday Brunch, which was actually named the “No. 1 Hotel Brunch in the World” by Conde Nast Traveler, features more than 50 dishes from around the globe.
It has western breakfast fare like omelets, pancakes, eggs benedict and homemade hash. There isa Southwestern flare with Albondigas soup, carne asada tacos, hot n’ sour soup andAsian style ribs.
For those who don’t like stuffing themselves silly, there is a salad salad station with a Cobb salad, imported tuna niçoise and domestic and imported cheeses.
The signature spot of the brunch is the carving station, which has prime rib au jus and leg of lamb with mint jus.
The Royal Sunday Brunch takes place in the Queen Mary’s Grand Salon.
Afterward, you can walk around the Queen Mary’s decks and go through certain parts of the ship on a self-guided tour. Because of the location, it’s a Sunday brunch like none other in Southern California.
In addition to the parking, there is also a free shuttle from downtown Long Beach – the red buses called The Passport – and also a ferry from Rainbow Harbor, the Belmont Pier and Alamitos Bay.
