Waterfront Restaurant Offering 3-Course Meal With A View Of The Boats

The restaurant, located on the bay with a full view of the parade, offers different selections for all three courses.
It starts with a choice of albacore sashimi, garlic hummus or fried calamari with chili orange sauce. Main course selections feature stout beer braised short ribs with wild mushroom and pea polenta, gremolata, pan roasted sole with winter beans and potato puree, or a maple glazed pork chop served with caramelized apple puree, roasted root vegetables and chili apple gastrique.
Dessert is a choice of cinnamon sugar beignets filled with cream cheese icing or chocolate cake s’mores-style with toasted meringue, graham cracker streusel and whipped cream.
The children’s menu features mac ’N’ cheese, choice of cheeseburger or fish and chips a chocolate cookie.
The price is $35 – not including your cocktails, which of course go quite well with the food, view and boat parade – and $8 for the children’s menu.
The Lighthouse Bayview Café is also participating in Marina Park’s holiday celebration on Dec. 14. The Lighthouse booth is open during the day’s festivities selling mini Lighthouse Burger sliders (vegetarian option available) and warm cinnamon sugar beignets.
To speak to the quality of the food, during the parade the Lighthouse Bayview Café is providing catering for the Official Grand Marshal Boat on all five nights.
“We are so grateful to be able to participate in this year’s boat parade in such a special way,” said Executive Chef Ryan Sumner. “Creating unique dishes for the Grand Marshal Mickey Mouse and his guests will be an amazing way for our team to celebrate the season at the very front of the Newport Beach Boat Parade.
